Mark Caldwell focuses his practice in estate planning & litigation, workers compensation and civil matters. Mark has extensive knowledge and experience in the truckling industry from his previous career as an operations manager for two different national trucking companies. He represents companies from this industry as well as Moving and Storage Operators and other major logistics and transportation companies in the defense of their workers compensation claims, vehicle personal injury, property damage and/or premises liability claims.
Mark has been a regular presenter at industry sponsored legal seminars and “in house” workshops. Mark’s experience includes all areas of workers compensation law, including: injury by accident, compensable consequence, wage disputes, medical causation disputes, non-compensable idiopathic conditions or causes and discovery disputes. Mark has also represented insurers and employers in subrogation matters, maximizing his skills in Civil Court.
In his spare time Mark is active in the local community serving as a Coach for Special Olympics and as a coach for the Christiansburg Recreational Sports leagues. Mark sings in the local Community Choir-The Blacksburg Master Chorale, and leads his Church’s worship team.
